Labor Jurisdiction

The Colorado Convention Center is a union venue. All installation and dismantle work may be subject to union labor jurisdiction. Contact NPARALLEL with questions about what work exhibitor personnel may self-perform.

What Exhibitors Can Do
  • Work performed with hand tools only — no power tools
  • No more than 2 exhibitor employees performing installation at any time
  • Exhibitor employees may set up displays, arrange furnishings, and hang signs within their own booth
  • Exhibitor employees may operate their own booth equipment
  • All work must comply with NPARALLEL staff instructions and safety requirements
When NPARALLEL Labor Is Required
  • Installation or dismantle of rental furniture and display equipment ordered through NPARALLEL
  • Use of power tools for any construction or installation
  • Rigging — hanging banners, lights, or any overhead elements
  • Electrical connections (must be performed by authorized electricians)
  • Lifting or moving items over 150 lbs
  • Work requiring specialized equipment (forklifts, boom lifts, etc.)
Supervisory Labor Option

If you will not be present during move-in or move-out, order Supervisory Labor. A NPARALLEL supervisor will oversee installation and/or dismantle per your floor plan and instructions. Include your booth layout when ordering.
